Okay, so I've sat here for a hour and attempted to design a page that I'm half way decently happy with....so u see what I've ended up with. I feel as though i should give fair warning as to what to expect out of this. I do have a tendency to get on a soapbox every now and then with things going on in the world that aggravates me, you will also notice that the back ground will get changed out quite a bit (prob just as often as i like to change my furniture around in my house or it could just depend on my mood) and for those of you who know me that's pretty often, and finally i will prob talk A LOT about my kids :D. p.s.- be glad this thing has spell check because i suck a spelling, LOL.
Now that that's out of the way, tonight we went to the zoo here for the members only party. We joined a few months ago because we figured it was gonna be cheaper to do that then to pay 20+ bucks a whack for every time we visited. Anyway, the place was packed tonight! I would have had pictures, but for some reason opted not to take my camera this go around (shame on me!!). We stayed for about a hour or so and decided to go back home. For those of you who have never been here, there really isn't much of anything to do here at all. Most activities are in New Mexico or HOURS to the south-east of us in south Texas. Well i was gonna post a few pictures from the zoo trip last weekend, but it has decided to not load my pictures. BOO HISS!!!
The one other major thing going on right now is potty training my oldest, Dinker. He is 3 now and we have decided that it is way past time for him to start using the big boy potty. We really started pushing him last weekend by not letting him wear diapers or pull ups, but that back fired and he decided that he would just go in his underwear no matter what we did or said. So the following day we put him in a pull up and things started out with a down right hissy fit on his behalf. By Tuesday he was doing great, he only had 2 accidents that day. Wednesday he woke up dry and stayed dry all day, Thursday he had 2 accidents, and today he only had 1 minor one....he even managed to stay dry the whole time we were at the zoo :). I really feared that family outings were gonna take a major blow during potty training but hes done extremely well. I'm guessing he's found that he still gets his attention while sitting on the potty that Boo gets when i have to change his diaper. Ahhh...the joys of being a parent. Okay, well i guess i had better shut up and go to bed since its almost midnight. These will prob continue to be semi long until i really get the hang of it. NIGHT ALL <3
